How much retouching do you do?
First of all, retouching is half the fun of what I do. I provide complimentary retouching to your chosen photos. I do this because I would much rather spend the necessary time making sure your shots represent the best of you, having met you and spent time with you. Through the years, I've never felt I've gotten that from someone who's sitting behind a counter.
My intention and goal is always to make subtle, precise adjustments to your shot in order to represent you in the best way possible, yet maintain the "you" in it. Too many times, I've come across "retouched" photos that have lost all expression, essence, and any uniqueness as a result of covering and/or blurring any "flaws". In addition to reducing the appearance of undereye darkness, blemishes, stray hairs, etc., my goal is to really make your shot POP!
In the session, I CAPTURE the artist in you. The finished product allows you to LEAP FROM THE PAGE and capture the casting director/agent. There truly is an art to this, and I approach it thusly.
